Between tenants, check every chimney at once
Send the unit list
Share the property and the fireplace count, and we will set the single visit.
Why turnover suits the inspection
An empty unit is easy to work in. Nobody needs to move a couch, and nobody is waiting on the other side of the door. If a rental is vacant between leases, that is the moment to check the hearth and the flue.
Send the list of units with fireplaces and tell us which are empty. If a unit is still occupied, give us the access details.
Choose a level for the list
Level 1 covers a visual check of the accessible parts, at $55 for each fireplace. Level 2 adds the video scan of the flue, plus the attic, crawlspace and roof where we can enter, at $395 for each fireplace.
To get your figure, take the price for your level and multiply by the number of fireplaces.
A Level 2 when the owner changes or the fuel does
Under NFPA 211, a Level 2 fits when ownership changes, after flame has reached the flue, after a quake, or when a different fuel goes in. A property that is changing hands, or a building that is moving tenants onto gas logs, is in that category.
One visit, one named report
We inspect every fireplace on your list in the same visit. The report names each one, with its own findings and photos, and arrives the day we inspect.
Where a chimney needs masonry or other repair, we price the work after the inspection and rank it by what to do first.

Rental questions
Can you reach units with tenants in them?
Yes, with access. Give us the details for each unit so the one visit can cover it.
How do I know what a unit costs?
Pick Level 1 or Level 2, then multiply that figure by the number of fireplaces.
Is each unit reported separately?
Within one report, yes. Each fireplace is named.
Give us the units and the gap
We plan one visit that covers every fireplace and give you a named report on inspection day.
